Dhanush’s Emotional Tribute to His Father & Dream to Direct Pawan Kalyan Shines at Kuberaa Event

At the Kuberaa pre-release event, Dhanush wore his heart on his sleeve. Addressing a packed auditorium with SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna in attendance, the actor got visibly emotional as he spoke about his father’s sacrifices.

“All that I am today is because of the blood, sweat, and hard work my father put in,” said the actor.

Marking his 51st Tamil and 2nd Telugu film, Dhanush praised director Sekhar Kammula for choosing soul over spectacle. He also dropped a dream wish — to direct Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan someday.

The heartfelt moments didn’t stop there. Nagarjuna lauded Dhanush’s dedication, while fans celebrated this rare peek into the actor’s personal journey.

Kuberaa, releasing June 20, is already generating buzz, and Dhanush’s vulnerability at the event only deepened fans’ admiration.
