With Metro… In Dino, Anurag Basu returns to explore love and heartbreak in a modern world. Actor Aditya Roy Kapur, who plays a pivotal role in the film, recently opened up about the unique experience of working with Basu—especially the power of non-verbal storytelling.
“I had plenty of lines, yes—but with Dada, some of the most powerful moments came in silence,” Aditya told IANS. “He brings emotion without uttering a word, and that’s rare. Sometimes, a look says more than five lines.”
Metro… In Dino reunites a stellar cast including Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Neena Gupta. The film, with music by Pritam, hits cinemas on July 4 as the final chapter of Basu’s acclaimed anthology.
