36 Stars, 1 Jungle & A Whole Lot of Chaos: Why ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ Is Running Behind Schedule

Welcome To The Jungle, the third installment of the beloved Welcome franchise, has hit some serious roadblocks, but not the ones you’re thinking. While whispers of financial trouble did the rounds, director Ahmed Khan finally broke his silence.

Turns out, managing the schedules of 36 actors is a Herculean task. Add to that a last-minute cancellation of a Kashmir shoot location, and you’ve got a logistical nightmare. Khan insists, “It’s not a money issue — it’s the madness of putting together so many calendars and a perfect backdrop.”

With 70% of the film already shot and a lineup featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Anil Kapoor, and a host of Bollywood legends and comedians, the film’s momentum is still intact. Delayed, not derailed — this jungle comedy might just be worth the wait.
