Richa Chadha Becomes a Jury Member For Indian Film Festival of Melbourne

As per the latest reports, Richa Chadha is all set to become a Jury Member of another prestigious Indian Film Festival, which is known as one of the biggest Indian film festivals in the world. Read below to learn more.

From cracking auditions to performing in films, from portraying critically acclaimed performances to winning prestigious awards, Actress Richa Chadha has seen it all. Richa is all set to grab this ample opportunity and make it worth it as per the sources. After hosting the incredibly successful virtual Indian film festival of Melbourne 2020 last year due to the widespread of Covid-19 all across the world. IFFM 2021 is set to host the film festival both as an online medium for the virtual audience and in cinemas for the live audience from next month onwards.

This will be the 12th edition of this prestigious film festival, which will be live in cinemas from August 12 to end on 21st August, while the online Australia-wide from dates August 15 to 30th August. To send in the entries and participate in the film festival, IFFM Short Film Competition has opened its doors.

For this year’s short film festival competition, the jury will gather producer, actor, and activist Richa Chadha tagging along with National Award-winning filmmaker Onir.

Richa Chadha is genuinely delighted to be a part of this prestigious film festival’s jury member for the short film category. When being asked about being a part of the jury, “Being a part of IFFM Short Film Festival 2021 as a jury member is an incredible feeling. To be back here again, but as a judge this time, is very exciting. We are sure to expect some astounding short films on the theme of modern slavery and equality, both of which are complex subjects. Also, speaking from experience, I am aware of how difficult it is to tell an entire story within a short amount of time, that too on such an important theme so I’m really looking forward to all the short film entries this year.”
