Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal and Pulkit Samrat’s comedy film ‘Fukrey’ completed eight years on Monday. Richa shared some pictures on social media and wrote, “8 years ago, ‘Fukrey’ released today.., I made friends for life, and also met a boy from my own planet. This is the ‘pyaar dosti hai’ phase”.
She posted a photo with the ‘Fukrey’ actor and her husband Ali Fazal. Celebrating 8 years of the movie, Richa is grateful. The superb film helped her meet her now beau Ali Fazal. She concluded by being grateful saying “things happen in strange ways… unknown to us, our lives are shaped by forces we never pay attention to”.
Pulkit Samrat also shared a post on this memorable occasion. He took to Twitter and wrote:#8YearsOfFukrey. Special forever!” Released in 2013, ‘Fukrey’ was directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The cast of the film includes Pankaj Tripathi, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Vishakha Singh, and Priya Anand.
After the film’s success, makers came up with its sequel in 2017. Richa and Ali went on to do ‘Fukrey Returns’ together. They will next be seen in the third part of the film with the rest of the cast. Reportedly, their romance developed after the making of Fukrey Returns.
Ali Fazal was last seen in Mirzapur Season 2, which released on Amazon Prime Video last year. Richa Chadha’s last theatrical release was Madam Chief Minister released in January this year. The actress was recently seen in Lahore Confidential, which released on Zee5.
