NIA Nabs Two Key ISIS Sleeper Cell Operatives at Mumbai Airport

In a major breakthrough, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two key ISIS-linked absconders at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Identified as Abdullah Faiyaz Shaikh alias Diaperwala and Talha Khan, the duo was intercepted by the Bureau of Immigration at Terminal 2 late Friday night upon their return from Jakarta, Indonesia, where they had been hiding.

The arrests are a significant step in the NIA’s crackdown on ISIS sleeper cells operating in India.
