The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), the largest annual celebration of Indian cinema outside India, is set to celebrate acclaimed actor Dulquer Salmaan as one of the most iconic and influential stars of Indian cinema at its 2026 edition. A celebrated performer whose work has seamlessly transcended languages, industries and borders, Dulquer will attend the festival as one of its Guests of Honour, joining a stellar line-up of India’s finest cinematic voices. The festival is scheduled to take place from 13–23 August 2026, supported by the Victorian Government.
Over the past decade, Dulquer Salmaan has carved a unique place in Indian cinema through an extraordinary body of work across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. From critically acclaimed performances to commercially successful blockbusters, he has consistently redefined the modern Indian leading man with his versatility, effortless charm and fearless choice of stories.
