Dharma Productions to make the announcement tonight at 8 p.m

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions announced on Monday morning that they would be launching a new venture around 8 p.m. tonight. Dharma Productions has a slew of excellent movies inside the works, and so this revelation has piqued the interest of the internet. It’s noteworthy because it’s the launch of such a project that Kartik Aaryan was originally promised.

Although we won’t learn more about the movie until 8 p.m., revealed that it would be based inside the world of cricket. Upon breaking the story of the announcement today, Dharma used three emoticons: a red heart, a bat and ball, as well as stars.

Rajkumar Rao as well as Jahnvi Kapoor would appear in the film, according to people close to the Bollywood Society. Sharan Sharma of Gunjan Saxena fame will direct the film. The movie will feature a love storey well with main characters playing cricketers. The film was initially offered to Kartik Aaryan, however, he declined. The project is set to begin production later this year.

Dostana 2 was supposed to be released in 2019, however owing to the pandemic, it had to be postponed. Janhvi Kapoor as well as Kartik Aaryan have already spent 20 days on set. According to reports, Dharma Productions will not only replace the actor inside the sequel to their 2008 success, but would also refuse to work with him in any subsequent project, since Karan has indicated that he will never deal with him again.

Following the publication of such news claims, a part of the internet began tweeting that Kartik had been pulled from the project because he is not an industry insider’s child. Many Twitter users connected Kartik’s situation to that of late Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, who was accused of nepotism and groupism. Kartik’s fans are also enraged.
