Sidharth Malhotra is receiving a lot of praise for his natural acting in the powerful trailer for his upcoming flick Shershaah. The film, which tells Captain Vikram Batra’s inspirational storey, had an interesting route to become a screenplay. This storey was brought to Dharma Productions by Sidharth Malhotra. The Student of The Year actor, met Vishal Batra, Vikram Batra’s brother, a few years ago and was fascinated by Vikram Batra’s struggle and sacrifice. He envisioned the storey being conveyed onscreen to reach a wider audience.
Sidharth Malhotra oversaw the project and handed it over to Dharma Productions, who jumped on board right away to produce this incredible storey. From the inception of this idea to now being able to share this powerful journey with the world, It has been on a 5-year journey.
Shershaah is a biographical war film about army commander Vikram Batra, who won the Param Vir Chakra medal. Will play Vikram and Vishal Batra, respectively. Captain Vikram Batra’s fiancée, Dimple Cheema, will be played by actress Kiara Advani. Vishnuvardhan, a Tamil filmmaker, is slated to make his Hindi debut with Shershaah, a film produced by Karan Johar. The film will be available on Amazon Prime Video on August 12, 2021.

The film is directed by Vishnu Varadhan and produced by Dharma Productions. Kiara Advani shared the trailer with her photo with the team of “Shershaah”.
