Longest Song

Bollywood has become 100 plus years old industry. Since 1913 with Raja Harishchandra being the first film and with Alam Ara (1931) film featuring the first Bollywood song in it. Now, let’s take a look at the longest song in India.

In the last two decades, Bollywood has produced a number of war films. Only a handful, though, we’re able to connect with the audience on a meaningful level. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, directed by Anil Sharma of Gadar fame, is one of these war films. In the year 2004, the movie Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo was released.

The tale plot and how wonderfully the filmmaker portrays the feelings of patriotism and nationalism are two significant highlights of this film. Despite the fact that the Akshay Kumar starrer has a fantastic soundtrack, the title tune is the film’s primary selling point. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo is the world’s longest Hindi song.

Sameer, a seasoned songwriter, created the lyrics. ABHWS song is nothing short of a music lover’s joy, sung in the euphonious voices of famous singers such as Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, and Kailash Kher.

Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon is one of those songs that is in everyone’s Independence Day playlist, and rightfully so because the mood of this catchy number gives you chills. The full 20-minute song, not just one episode, is a masterpiece in and of itself, and a must-listen on Independence Day.
