Priya is loved and supported by her parents, brothers, and closest friend, Ajay (Chandrachur Singh). Ajay has a hidden crush on Priya and hopes to marry her someday.
Priya begins her first year of college and immediately attracts the attention of rich playboy Rahul (Saif Ali Khan). She is seduced by his allure, although Ajay with his sibling Vicky (Mamik Singh) are wary of Rahul. They are concerned about his notoriety and womanising tendencies, and therefore advise her to avoid him. Priya, but on the other hand, feels Rahul is already in love with her, as well as the two starts a relationship and also have sex.
