Vamshi Paidipally wrote and directed Brindavanam, a Telugu-language romantic action comedy movie released in 2010. N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Kajal Aggarwal, and Samantha appear in the movie, which also features Prakash Raj, Srihari, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mukesh Rishi, Ajay, Tanikella Bharani, as well as Brahmanandam. Sri Venkateswara Creations, Dil Raju’s production company, produced the movie. With cinematography by Chota K. Naidu, dialogues by Koratala Siva, as well as editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh, S. Thaman created the soundtrack.

Surendra (Mukesh Rishi), a multimillionaire in Hyderabad, has a son named Krishna aka Krish (N. T. Rama Rao Jr.). He is dating Indu (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), who has a buddy named Bhoomi (Kajal Aggarwal). Bhanu Prasad (Prakash Raj), Bhoomi’s father, decided to marry her cousin suitor (Ajay), who’s now a troublemaker, that Bhoomi despises.
To put an end to the marriage, her grandpa Durga Prasad (Kota Srinivasa Rao) informs the family that she has already fallen in love with a man inside the city, but Bhaanu Prasad urges Bhoomi to bring her lover home with her. Krish is sent as Bhoomi’s boyfriend by Indu to get her out of the wedding dilemma.
Krish learns about everyone in Bhoomi’s family from Bhoomi when he arrives at her village. He believes that the members of her home life as individuals rather than as a family with ties and feelings. Krish successfully wins the hearts of Bhoomi’s family members by changing the mindsets of Bhoomi’s uncles (Raghu Babu, Ahuti Prasad), who are indolent at home doing nothing.
Bhanu Prasad as well as his stepbrother Sivudu (Srihari) had been enemies for 25 years, according to Durga Prasad, since Durga Prasad was wedded a second time after his first wife passed away, against Bhaanu Prasad’s desires, and Sivudu was born to the new spouse. This is really the source of Bhanu Prasad’s enmity for Sivudu. The two brothers divide their inherited fortune in half and have their father, Durga Prasad, live in each of their houses for six months. Krish makes the decision to reunite the two brothers and is successful, much to the delight of both families.
After being inspired by Krish, Bhanu Prasad acknowledges Bhoomi’s love and resolves to marry her. This alarms Krish and Bhoomi because the original goal was for Bhoomi and her suitor’s marriage to be annulled, not for Bhaanu Prasad to approve their “relationship.” Bhoomi’s suitor swears to acquire her by whatever means out of a desire for her and resentment over the wedding’s cancellation. When Indu, Sivudu’s wife’s sister’s a.k.a. adoptive daughter, arrives on the scene, the tale takes an unexpected turn. Sivudu, unaware of Krish’s true identity, chooses to marry Indu to her lover at the same time as Bhoomi. In order to salvage Krish’s performance, Indu tells Sivudu that her boyfriend has abandoned her. Sivudu commands his soldiers to locate and bring Indu’s lover’s (Krish’s) parents to him.
Krish is also asked by Bhanu Prasad to invite his parents to the marital arrangement. Before Krish’s parents come, Indu puts up a phoney father (Brahmanandam) and mother (Hema) for him, but when Krish’s parents arrive, they are surprised to discover Krish there (who they thought was on a world tour). Krish explains everything to them and asks them to play along.
Bhoomi and Krish get engaged by Bhanu Prasad, who encourages them to choose when they want to marry. Just when Krish thinks everything is resolved and is about to walk out of Bhoomi’s life, Bhoomi discloses to Indu that she has fallen in love with Krish.
When Bhoomi’s suitor discovers the true identities and informs Sivudu, who confronts Indu, fate takes another turn. Before Durga Prasad intervenes, Bhanu Prasad hears about the incident and, together with Sivudu, beats up Krish. Durga Prasad explains to them that he concocted the charade to protect Bhoomi from her abusive suitor. He further explains that Krish did not defraud Indu (as Sivudu believes) and that Krish was dispatched by Indu. He tells Bhaanu Prasad that Bhoomi is smitten with Krish as well.
Just as things begin to calm down, Bhoomi’s suitor abducts her, only to be pursued by Krish. Krish successfully subdues Bhoomi’s suitor and departs alongside Bhoomi, however a new difficulty develops when Krish must choose between Indu, whom he loves, and Bhoomi, whom he loves. When Krish seeks a solution, Lord Krishna (holographically depicted by N. T. Rama Rao) appears in front of him and tells him that this is a part of life, although when Krish asks for the solution, Lord Krishna vanishes, leaving Krish’s fate to the viewer.
