Mrunal Thakur discusses working on Pippa with Ishaan Khatter and Priyanshu Painyuli

Mrunal Thakur has been on a roll lately. The actress has started filming for Pippa after conquering hearts with her performances in Super 30 and Toofaan. Ishaan Khatter and Priyanshuu Painyuli appear in the film, which is directed by Raja Krishna Menon. To be clear, the war movie is based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry tank unit who, together with his siblings, fought valiantly on the eastern front during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War.

While Mrunal is ecstatic to be a part of the movie, she recently announced her position in Pippa and the character she will play.

“Working on this film felt like I was around family,” Mrunal told Mid Day of working alongside Ishaan and Priyanshu. On set, I was absolutely treated. These are unquestionably lifelong ties. I hope that comes out on screen, and that the audience loves the movie.” It’s worth noting that Pippa is Mrunal’s first cooperation with both actors.

Additionally, the Super 30 actress referred to Pippa as a “unique project” and stated that portraying a younger sibling on TV is a role reversal for her because she is the eldest of her siblings in real life.

Meanwhile, Mrunal is excited for the release of her forthcoming film Jersey, in which she stars alongside Shahid Kapoor.
