Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal make the late actor’s final film about the life of a retiree memorable

Rishi Kapoor’s untimely death was one of the year’s most tragic stories. Rishi’s followers continue to miss him, even though it’s been nearly two years after he passed away. Fans of the renowned actor, on the other hand, are in for a treat as Rishi’s last film, Sharmaji Namkeen, is slated to hit theatres soon. To be clear, the film is generating a lot of talk these days not only because it marks Rishi Kapoor ‘s final onscreen appearance, but also because Paresh Rawal stepped into the late actor’s shoes in the film after his death.

And now, the makers of Sharmaji Namkeen have finally released the teaser, and it’s a joy to see Rishi Kapoor perform one more time in front of the camera. Sharma Ji (Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal) and his troubles with retirement are the focus of the almost three-minute trailer, which turns out to be a hilarious comedy. The Sharmaji Namkeen trailer shows how Sharma Ji started cooking to pass the time and ended up winning hearts. It was a joy to see Rishi Kapoor in this endearing part in his final film. Paresh Rawal, on the other hand, stepped into Rishi Kapoor’s shoes for the film and did an excellent job in the part. “Lekar dher saara pyaar, do adbhut kalakaar ek screen par chhayenge pehli baar”.

Paresh has previously tweeted, “#SharmajiNamkeen,” about stepping into Rishi Kapoor’s shoes for Sharmaji Namkeen. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play with him. “This is my tribute to Shri Rishi Kapoor Saab, who passed very recently.” Apart from Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, and Satish Kaushik star in Sharmaji Namkeen. On March 31, the film will be released in theatres.
