Vipul Shah sells his Force 3 rights to John Abraham

by Ratan Srivastava

John Abraham, a Bollywood star, is returning to the Star Wars franchise. For Force, the actor linked up with producer Vipul Shah, and the film was a box office success. Vidyut Jammwal made his acting debut in this film, which also starred Genelia D’Souza as the main heroine. Force 2 was released after that, with Tahir Raj Bhasin and Sonakshi Sinha joining the cast. Now, it appears that the actor has acquired the franchise’s rights and is working on a third movie.

The actor has apparently been working on elevating the franchise to the next level in terms of action, according to a report in a publication. He’ll most likely nail down a script that does the franchise justice, and once that’s done, they’ll start pre-production on Force 3. Vipul Shah allegedly confirmed the news, saying that Force is a unique brand and that he hopes John takes it to new heights. The goal is to get it on floors by the end of 2022 or early 2023.

Meanwhile, John Abraham is working on various films, including Attack, Ek Villain 2, Pathan, and a remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum with Arjun Kapoor. He’s also in an untitled comedy by Sajid Khan.
