John Abraham Joins MotoGP India As Brand Ambassador – Take a Look

Eurosport India, India’s most popular sports destination, and discovery+, India’s first aggregated real-time entertainment streaming app, have strengthened their motorsports programming by appointing Bollywood superstar and MotoGPTM fan John Abraham as the India Ambassador for their flagship Motorsport property – MotoGPTM. John, a die-hard MotoGP fan, will be the face of Eurosport’s “MotoGP, Race Lagate Hai” campaign in India, promoting the sport to a broader audience.

With prominent properties such as the FIA Formula 2 Championship, W Series, Nascar, Indycar Series, and Bennetts British Superbike racing, Eurosport India now has an unrivalled depth of global motorsports programming for Indian motorsports enthusiasts. The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) sanctioned Grand Prix motorcycle racing, also known as MOTO GP. It is the premier class of motorcycle road racing events contested on road circuits. For their Indian audience, Eurosport India and Discovery+ have the LIVE and exclusive broadcasting rights for all three top classes, namely Moto 2, Moto 3, and Moto GP. John has already shared the stage with MotoGPTM great “The Doctor”-Valentino Rossi and has attended numerous MotoGPTM races.

John Abraham, a multitalented superstar and enthusiastic MotoGP fan stated, “It’s a moment of pride for any fan to become the India Ambassador, and it’s indeed a moment of reckoning for me. India is recognised for its passion for motorcycles, and it has developed into a strong market for superbikes and two-wheelers with more than 500cc engines throughout the years, resulting in Yamaha’s R15 joining the programme as a co-presenting sponsor.

The campaign will include a multi-platform promotional strategy that includes radio, outdoor advertising, and digital. While digital and social media will be the primary drivers of conversation and buzz through engaging content videos with John, Eurosport is also offering devoted fans the chance to win special racing merchandise signed by our MotoGP buddy John Abraham.
