Anupam Kher recently visited Priyanka Chopra‘s restaurant Sona in New York to have dinner. The veteran actor shared a bunch of pictures with the chef and his team on his social media account. The 66-year-old actor couldn’t stop showering praise on Priyanka and said that she has given one more reason to Indians to be proud of.
Anupam Kher took to Instagram and shared a string of photos, including one throwback photo with a Desi girl. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Dearest @priyankachopra !! It was really a pleasure to have dinner at your wonderful restaurant @sonanewyork. Everything was great. Food, ambiance, fantastic staff headed by chef @harinayak. You have given us Indians one more reason to be proud of you. Keep it up. You are the bestest. Jai Ho! #Food #Restaurant #IndianInAmerica.”
Anupam also posted a video with the chef and his team and said he is happy to be at Priyanka’s restaurant, SONA. PeeCee replied to his sweet post and wrote, “Awww thank you Anupam sir! go glad u liked!”
In March, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had announced the launch of her Indian restaurant, Sona in an Instagram post. The actress had shared pictures from the pooja and had written, “I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavors I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef @harinayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country. SONA is opening later this month, and I can’t wait to see you there!”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anupam Kher will be seen in Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s film, The Last Show, and in Shiv Shastri Balboa co-starring Neena Gupta.
