Global icon Priyanka Chopra who is currently busy shooting for her upcoming project in London marked the 71st birth anniversary of her late father Dr Ashok Chopra. The actress took to her Instagram Story and shared a snap featuring a cake, on which “Happy birthday Papa” was written. Priyanka also tagged her mother Dr Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra in her story.
On a related note, Dr Madhu Chopra also remembered her late husband on his birth anniversary. Dr Madhu dug out a priceless picture and shared it on her Twitter handle. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Another Birthday!”
Siddharth Chopra also shared a throwback picture with his dad and wrote, “#Dad #happy birthday.
Priyanka had lost her father in 2013 after his long battle with cancer. The actress was very close to her father, had got her wrist inked with a tattoo that says ‘Daddy’s Lil girl’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka has been in London for a while now shooting for her upcoming project ‘Citadel’, which is a spy-thriller directed by The Russo Brothers. It also stars ‘Game of Thrones’ fame actor Richard Madden in the lead role.
Besides this, Priyanka will next be seen in ‘Text For You’ which also features Sam Heughan and Celine Dion in the lead roles. Apart from that, she will also be seen in ‘Matrix 4’ in her kitty.
Priyanka will also be seen in the announced Bollywood film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, along with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt which will mark actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar’s return as a director.
