Anupam Kher is a former Chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India as well as a Popular Indian actor. He has featured including over 500 movies, mostly in Hindi, as well as several plays. He has two National Film Awards and eight Filmfare Awards to his name.

Russell’s Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook (2012). He was nominated for a BAFTA for the supportive performance inside the British sitcom The Boy With The Topknot (2018).

He was named the Pratham Education Foundation’s goodwill ambassador in 2010, with the goal of improving children’s education in The country. Kher is a staunch supporter of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). He discusses Kashmir as well as Kashmiri Pandits in a favourable light.
