Ananya Panday has every cause to smile ear-to-ear. She is, after all, preparing for Gehraiyaan, her first release of the year. The Shakun Batra-directed film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi, has been one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year, with its trailer generating a lot of attention. While Ananya is excited for the premiere of Gehraiyaan, she has now revealed a glimpse of her character Tia from the film.
Ananya published a video of herself slipping through into skin of Tia, bringing over her bubbliness, panache, emotions, sadness, and more about her Instagram account. The video flawlessly caught Tia’s every emotion and piqued viewers’ interest in the film. Ananya referred to Tia as “a piece of her heart.” “Love is not what you say,” she captioned the video. What you are doing is love. Tia is a piece of my heart that I’d want to introduce to you.” Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya’s BFFs, were quick to congratulate her on her portrayal of Tia.
Ananya’s first collaboration with Deepika as well as Siddhant will be directed by Shakun Batra, and she has nothing but admiration for them. “I’ve adored her as a performer my whole life,” Ananya told Hindustan Times, praising Deepika. I respect the decisions she’s taken, as well as the personalities she’s chosen and the roles she’s performed. She’s just as stunning on the inside as she is on the outer.
