Telly actor Paras Chhabra, who shared a close bond with the late actor Sidharth Shukla, has revealed that he and Asim Riaz have buried their enmity and are friends again post Sid’s untimely demise. Not to forget, Paras and Asim were always at loggerheads during their controversial show Bigg Boss 13. That’s where both of them became friends with Sidharth Shukla, who later won the show. However, the tragic demise of Sidharth Shukla made them realize that no issue in life is so big that cannot be resolved. Thus, the two actors have ended their past animosity against each other.
While speaking to an entertainment portal, Paras revealed that he met Asim at Sidharth’s house post his demise. And the moment they saw each other, both couldn’t resist their emotions and hugged each other, forgetting their past rivalry.
“The moment Asim and I saw each other, we couldn’t control our emotions and hugged each other. Asim in fact said ki milna toh tha but aise nahi milna tha humein. It is at that very moment that we decided that we shouldn’t be keeping any animosity against each other and should be back to being friends. We also vowed to be in touch and to meet each other often,” Paras said.
“We both realized that no issue is so big in life that it cannot be resolved. Both of us took the first step towards each other at Sidharth’s place. It was as if Sidharth reunited us from up there.”
Paras Chhabra also stated that from Sidharth’s tragic demise they have learned that life is too short to hold grudges with one another.
Asim and I have spent a good time inside the Bigg Boss house together and both of us were close to Sidharth,” he concluded.
Sid’s funeral was no less than a BB13 reunion with all the contestants together under one roof. It was a reunion that nobody ever wanted.
Sidharth Shukla breathed his last on September 2 after suffering a heart attack. His last rites were held a day later at the Oshiwara crematorium. Besides his family, and close friends, all of his Bigg Boss 13 housemates – Paras Chhabra, Arti Singh, Asim Riaz, Shehnaaz Gill, Hindustani Bhau, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashami Desai, and Mahira Sharma arrived to pay their last respects at the crematorium. Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh visited Sid’s house on the day of his demise.
