Munawar Faruqui Backs Qazi, Calls Bigg Boss 20 House Insecure
Former winner Munawar Faruqui says Bigg Boss 20 housemates are uniting against Qazi Touqeer because of his audience support, as his team denies exit rumours.

Former Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui has entered the Bigg Boss 20 conversation with a pointed defence of Qazi Touqeer, the contestant currently at the centre of a house-wide debate over his health and his popularity with viewers.
Munawar’s public defence
In a social media story, Munawar argued that several housemates can see the audience support Qazi has been receiving and have decided to team up against him. He wrote that the constant references to fan bases and communities were a sign of insecurity, not strength.
“They are so insecure they need to say ‘bahar meri audience’ …”
He alleged that some people were simply riding their PR image rather than playing the game on its own terms, ending his note with the phrase “The Qazishow.”
What we know about Qazi’s health
Qazi Touqeer has been unwell for several days, reportedly running a fever and feeling low on energy. His team said he was examined by a doctor in the medical room and continues to take part in tasks whenever his health allows.
- Qazi has reportedly had fever and low energy for several days.
- His team says he saw a doctor in the medical room and has not left the show.
- No dengue diagnosis has been confirmed.
When the show stepped in
Captain Uditi Singh reportedly pushed Qazi to complete household duties even after he showed medical reports. Bigg Boss later intervened and made it clear that Qazi was not fit to perform the assigned duties.
The tension is also personal. Uditi Singh, Aman Gandhi and Arishfa Khan were seen discussing him with other contestants, including Yung DSA, ScoutOP and Aasif Khan, while he was unwell. Qazi was particularly hurt by Arishfa’s distance because he had previously treated her like a daughter figure.
Why the audience matters
Former contestant Gauahar Khan also backed Qazi, saying the house appeared to be targeting him while he was sick and alone. She called Mahhi Vij the exception and questioned the behaviour of contestants who were once close to him.
For viewers, this is not just another fight. Bigg Boss runs on audience votes, so a contestant’s perceived fan base becomes strategy. Munawar’s accusation, if it lands with fans, could shift how the public reads every nomination and task from here.
The immediate question is whether Qazi’s health improves and whether the audience support Munawar is describing shows up where it matters: in voting lines.
