Sanjay Leela Bhansali is creating massive buzz recently as recently for his big movie project Inshallah, the director approached Hrithik Roshan replacing Superstar Salman Khan opposite Alia Bhatt as per the reports. Now, this news is making fans crazy. Read below to know more about it.
As Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to step up and direct the first episode of big show OTT platform, Netflix Original’s Heera Mandi. As per the sources, the initial plan was to make Vibhu Puri direct all the episodes of the Web series and Sanjay Leela Bhansali was to serve it as a producer. But then Netflix thought something different. As per the close source to the development of the project, “Heera Mandi is Bhansali’s dream project for 12 years now. The only reason he is not helming it officially is because he is busy with the post-production of his directorial project Gangubai Kathiawadi.”

The source further added that “There are seven episodes in Heera Mandi. Bhansali will now direct the first episode. The rest of the 6 episodes will be directed by Vibhu Puri while Bhansali will supervise the project.”
The source means to say that SLB will take care of all the activities going around the series, from direction aspect to production budget, etc. For the ones, who still haven’t figured out Vibhu Puri, he is one who assisted SLB on Saawariya and also wrote the dialogues for Bhansali’s epic creation Guzaarish which starred ‘Greek God of Bollywood’ Hrithik Roshan. Later on, the movie Hawaizaada was directed by Vibhu Puri in the year 2015.
For the people wondering about the cast of the upcoming web series ‘Heera Mandi’, it will feature acclaimed Bollywood actresses such as Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi as leads. As of now, the rest of the cast members still needs to be finalized.
