Sanjay Dutt is the latest celebrity to announce the start of his own production company. With his production company, Three Dimension Motion Pictures, Dutt hopes to restore the industry back to its golden era of valour.
The elderly actor, who has been in several blockbusters over the years, believes that the success of pan-India films such as Pushpa and Baahubali is evidence of Bollywood’s disappearing larger-than-life heroics. Dutt remarked in an interview with Variety. “We began out with heroics, heroic characters, mass love, and everything when we first started in the film industry, and I simply watched everything cease. And I’m attempting to resurrect it.”
With the 1981 picture Rocky, the 62-year-old made his acting debut. The main males of Hindi films were portrayed as the entire heroic package during the 1980s and 1990s. The actor believes that the genre has now been limited to a niche or a little gap.
Three Dimension is gearing up for their forthcoming slate of movies, which includes Sidhant Sachdev’s horror-comedy The Virgin Tree. Four newcomers will appear in the movie. The titles of the remaining movies have not yet been determined, but they will involve family dramas as well as action movies.
However, Dutt will appear inside the movies Prithviraj, Shamshera, as well as KGF: Chapter 2 in the near future.
