Sohail Khan Brings the METEORA World Padel League to India, Owns Team PANTHERS

Sohail Khan is making waves in the Indian sports scene as the proud owner of the PANTHERS in the METEORA World Padel League, which kicked off at Nesco Center, Mumbai (Feb 5-8).

Sohail’s kids were ecstatic when he took ownership of a team in this fast-growing global sport, already popular in 90+ countries. His team, PANTHERS, boasts top-ranked players like Carlos Daniel, Marta Ortega, Javier Barahona, Javier Leal, Marina Guinart, Rama Valenzuela, and Sofia Araujo.

With a smaller court, glass walls for rebounds, and rackets made of composite material, Padel offers fast-paced action.

Sohail believes it’s primed to take off in India, with clubs like Otters Club, Bandra already setting up courts.

“The response has been phenomenal! Padel is an electrifying mix of Squash, Tennis, and Badminton, demanding sharp reflexes and stamina,” said Sohail Khan thrilled about India’s growing interest in the sport.

Other competing teams:
🔥 SG Pipers Cheetahs
🖤 Vernost Jaguars
🦁 Game Changers Lions

Organized by ID INFO Business Services, presented by METEORA Developers (Dubai), and with Naghma Khan’s SHAAZ MEDIA EVENTS handling media relations, WPL is live on Sony Sports 1.
