Manushi Chhillar declares she wants this filmmaker to direct her movie

Manu Bags another film alongside Ahaan Panday

Alongside Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar made her debut in 2022. She played the part of Princess Sanyogita in the historical drama movie Samrat Prithviraj. Although the movie didn’t do well at the box office, the crowd liked her performance. In her second movie, she will appear on screen alongside John Abraham. Manushi revealed during the conversation her long list of ideal filmmakers she’d want to collaborate with. She also discussed the continuing argument between OTT and theatres. Read on.

I believe there has been much discussion regarding why many movies have not done well in cinemas and whether or not OTT will replace traditional moviegoing. The fact that the lockdown has given rise to a new platform is, in my opinion, a positive development. These platforms aren’t in direct competition with one another, but they do appeal to different audiences. There are still people who enjoy watching quality movies in theatres and want to go there in order to fully enjoy the cinematic experience.

Of course, everyone has a list of persons they would like to collaborate with. I don’t believe I’ve got a list of actors. I do add the director’s name to my want list every time I view a movie that I truly enjoy and recognize as the director’s medium. Although I won’t mention his name, I believe one of the directors is someone I am now working with on a project for which I am really delighted and enthusiastic. So yeah, directors are mostly on my wish list. It may seem corny, but I would really like to have Rajamouli sir direct me. I truly adored RRR.

After Tehran, there will be some intriguing developments that will be a part of 2023. I am now preparing for them and am quite excited. When these initiatives are formally revealed, I believe I will be able to discuss them.
