Kareena Kapoor supports an initiative to help covid-19 widows

The second wave of novel coronavirus has affected millions and millions of lives across the country. Many of us have lost our loved ones battling with the deadly virus. Bollywood celebrities are also doing their bit to help people fighting with the disease.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of them and she has always been vocal to follow the covid-19 guidelines and asking everyone to stay at home and stay safe.

Kareena took to her Instagram handle on Tuesday to spread the awareness about the initiative to help to widows who lost their partner amid the second wave of novel corona virus in India.

She started an initiative named covidwidows.in and will help women to get counseling, various job opportunities and other support which they require.

Along with her post, she wrote, “We can’t even begin to understand their pain but we can help them finding their footing again.” She further requested her fans to spread the message and wrote, “Please spread the word and share this info with someone who needs it.”

On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor will be seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ along with Aamir Khan. This movie is the remake of the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Forrest Gump’. Apart from this, Kareena is also a part of Karan Johar’s upcoming film ‘Takht’.
