It isn’t the first instance that IT has made a visit to the residence of Sonu Sood.
Income tax authorities now are visiting the premises of actor and community activist Sonu Sood in Mumbai. Authorities are presently ‘surveying’ quite so many at six locations related to Sonu Sood, comprising his homes and workplaces in Mumbai, as per an NDTV storey.
It isn’t the first instance when IT authorities have investigated the performer’s home. Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Nigam, and Sonu Sood’s homes have been inspected by the IT department in 2012 following red flags being raised about the past acquisition. The actor’s home was searched when he purchased a residence for Rs 30 crores.
Sonu Sood got named as its brand representative for the Delhi Government’s ‘Desh Ka Mentor’ initiative earlier this month.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also stated that now the Delhi government will eventually introduce “the most progressive” movie laws inside the nation, which would give the entertainment business a significant boost. Both Kejriwal and Sood later stated that no political discussions took place during their meeting.
As per reports, the Income Tax Department inspected movie roles in Sonu Sood’s Mumbai office. Sonu’s properties were examined by the IT department, according to reports, because the actor’s books of finances were reportedly tampered with. The IT department, as per sources, has inspected six sites in connection to Sonu as well as its businesses.
