Actor Kangana Ranaut has been grabbing the headlines with her latest post on social media. She has revealed that she has been unable to pay half of her tax because of no work. She also said that is for the first time she is ‘late in paying tax’.
The actress recently took to her Instagram and shared a post in which she said that she is the highest tax paying actress. “Even though I come under highest tax slab pay almost 45 percent of my income as tax, even though I am the highest tax paying actress but because of no work haven’t paid half of my last year’s tax yet, first time in my life.”

She further added, “I am late in paying tax but the government is charging me interest on that pending tax money, still I welcome this move.” She concluded and wrote, “Time could be tough for us individually but together we are tougher than the time.”
Kangana had recently visited her Mumbai office that was demolished by the BMC for ‘illegal construction’. Earlier, the actress had visited her hometown Manali. She had also shared some pictures of her visit the Golden temple of Amritsar with her family. Before her visit to Manali, Kangana had tested positive for covid. Later she had tested negative for the virus.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in the most anticipated film, Thalaivi as J Jayalalithaa. The film was postponed due to the pandemic. It was scheduled to release on April 23 in thetres. The film is a biopic of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalaithaa. It reveals the story of her film career to her contribution to politics. Kangana also have movies like Dhaakaa and Tejas in the pipeline.
