Faadu: Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s first web series, has begun filming

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, a multi-faceted filmmaker, is returning to doing what she’s doing best: bringing material to life. Her debut novel, Mapping Love, was just published and received a lot of great feedback. Her most recent endeavour was the sport-themed series BREAKPOINT, which received widespread critical and fan acclaim. Faadu, the filmmaker’s first digital project, is presently in the works. The web series’ filming has commenced, and Ashwiny has provided an update on the situation.

Ashwiny used her social media account to post three photos.

She could be seen standing with her crew members and posting a photo of the clapper, indicating that the very first take of the very first scene has been set up. As she began filming her first web series, the director sent a heartfelt message.

“Glad to be working with @reddigitalcinema for the first time with @zeisscameralensesindia Amazed with the details this sensitive beauty captures the colours and deep focus on faces even in extreme low light. Looking forward to explore more. Thank-you @anupk15 for patiently answering my curious mind, and discussing the magic of images in cinema in depth. Looking forward for this joyous learning ‘directorial’ journey.”

With Faadu, Ashwiny will make her OTT debut, as well as her first partnership with Sony LIV.
