Ajay Devgn Joins Hands With BMC And Hospital To Set Up Covid-19 ICU

Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has been working quietly with the BMC to provide emergency medical facilities for those affected by Covid-19. The actor has joined hands with BMC and Hinduja Hospital to set up ICU.

The BMC commissioners, corporators and other work tirelessly on ground zero. They have been working to monitor the emergency services. Actor Ajay Devgn is working in close tandem by doing his bit. Ajay Devgn and a few of his esteemed colleagues from the film fraternity have stepped ahead and helped the BMC to set up an emergency medical unit at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park.

COO, Joy Chakraborty confirms that they would provide food, linen, medicine and manpower to this emergency unit. Sources revealed that besides the filmmaker Anand Pandit, Boney Kapoor, Luv Ranjan, Rajneesh Khanuja, Leena Yadav and Ashim Bajaj; OTT giants, Sameer Nair(Applause), Deepak Dhar & Rishi Negi (Banijay Asia, Seven Tauras Entertainment Private Limited), entrepreneur Tarun Rathi and Action-Director R P Yadav have made a contribution of over RS.1 crore to the Smiley Account.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in the super hit film, Tanhaji’- The Unsung Warrior. His next release will be on Disney+ Hotstar, the war drama, Bhuj-The Pride Of India. He will also be seen in sports flick, Maidaan and in extended special appearances in SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actor will soon begin work on Thank God, which also features Sidharth Malhotra and Rahul Preet Singh.
