Which religion do BTS follow?

It’s clear that BTS is committed religion to their devoted fan base, the ARMY. The lads constantly have the ARMY in mind, whether that’s releasing special content for them through a mobile video game or teasing them with footage of the boy band in their spare time. BTS members have a lot to really be grateful for, with such successful careers. But then who, if anybody, are the lads praying to? Is there anyone among them who believes in a higher power? The guys don’t talk about their religious views very often, but this is what we know about every member of BTS.

Inside an interview, RM RM stated that he had been an atheist, although he has made references to religion inside the past, so we don’t know whether that really has changed. “Prayin for a better position for you and I,” says one line inside the song “Change,” which features rapper Wale.

RM has also been seen wearing a crucifix-shaped necklace, which some interpret to be a religious sign.

V has never stated his religious beliefs, but some fans believe he is a Christian since he built a Spotify playlist that included a Hillsong Christian worship hymn. V has often been seen pointing up in remembrance of his late grandma, which might indicate that he is religious.

Jin has never stated publicly his religious beliefs, although the ARMY believes he is not religious.

Jimin hasn’t spoken about his religion, however some ARMY members believe he may have attended an all-boys Catholic or Christian school as a child, which may have influenced his current beliefs.

J-Hope does not have a recognised religion, however he has previously spoken about his trust in himself. J-Optimism was chosen as his stage name because he wanted to give his followers hope. The tale of Pandora’s box is also referenced in the name.

Suga stated that he does not have a religion but prays in a tweet during a trip to Kobe, Japan. “I understood once again that I am only a human being, despite the fact that I am weak yet appear tough. Despite the fact that I am not religious, I prayed at that period.
