As per the latest reports, Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal ( younger brother of actor Vicky Kaushal), will collaborate with Amar Kaushik and Producer Dinesh Vijan to revive ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga’. Read details below to know more.
Amar Kaushik, a Filmfare Award winner and filmmaker, is renowned for films like Stree and Bala. In 2017, he was set to make his directorial debut with the film Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga, which starred John Abraham and Rajkummar Rao. However, the picture was postponed as the principal actor, John Back, dropped out of the production, followed by the producers. In 2018, the director worked on a number of other films, including the horror-comedy Stree, which won him critical acclaim.
Amar Kaushik wishes to re-release his stalled debut film, but this time with a new cast and crew. Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal are likely to play the major roles in Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga, according to reports. Siraj Ahmed of Netflix’s web series Ray has revived the film and written a new script to fit the current situation.
Though Amar Kaushik was scheduled to direct Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga, he has now opted to produce it instead, and Ajay Singh, who is renowned for Amazon Prime’s horror-comedy Shaitaan Haveli, has been granted the opportunity to direct it. Amar Kaushik is preparing to co-produce it with Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, whom he has worked with on several occasions. Bollywood actress Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal, to be the lead cast of the film.
Talking about other projects apart from this, LOST, A Thursday, Bhoot Police, Raat Baaki, Oh My God 2, and Dasvi are among Yami Gautam’s upcoming films. Sunny Kaushal, on the other side, has Kaneda, Mili, and Nakhrewali in his stable. Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga is a suspense thriller that will be based on a diamond heist scenario. The film’s new cast and crew have been enlisted, and production is expected to begin soon.
