Yami Gautam surprised her fans by marrying director Aditya Dhar, who directed Uri: The Surgical Strike. Only close friends and family members were present during their wedding, which took place on a whim. The Bala actress recently discussed her unplanned wedding, which she describes as the most incredible moment of her life. However, the actress is pleased that, despite the fact that it was unplanned, the couple desired it and decided to go ahead with it. During Uri’s promotions, their love storey bloomed, and they gradually fell in love.
The pair had only discussed getting engaged and marrying afterwards, according to Yami Gautam. But, Yami’s grandma reminded her that engagement isn’t part of their culture or traditions and recommended the couple marry instead. Aditya and Yami agreed on this issue and married in her homeland of Himachal Pradesh in a little ceremony. The actress said that the idea of being a married lady has yet to sink in.

Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar has teamed up with his Uri hero Vicky Kaushal for The Immortal Ashwatthama, a superhero film starring Sara Ali Khan.
