What are the most anticipated movies of 2022? – Tap to know

Things are starting to look brighter as we emerge from the coronavirus epidemic that has ravaged the planet for over a year. The film industry, like so many others, has indeed been negatively impacted by social distancing rules and forced shutdowns because we like to think we’re up on that right track as vaccinations continue to be delivered and businesses reopen. Read below to know about the most anticipated movies of 2022.

With all that in mind, we take a look forward to the movies we hope to see on movie screens in 2022.

The 355 (2022)

This espionage thriller is directed by veteran X-Men writer and director Simon Kinberg and stars a star-studded A-list ensemble. It follows a squad of multinational operatives (played by a star-studded A-list ensemble) who join together to retrieve a top-secret weapon from a deadly mercenary. The film’s intended January 2021 release date was pushed back a year.

Deep Water (2022)

Filmmaker Adrian Lyne’s thriller, based on Patricia Highsmith’s eponymous novel (Strangers on a Train, The Talented Mr Ripley, Carol), stars Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas as just a married couple at odds that start to play deadly mind games with one other, eventually leading to murder.

Scream (2022)

Featuring veteran performers Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette all set to return, the directorial team was known as “Radio Silence” who brought us 2019’s Ready or Not take on Ghostface in a new instalment in Wes Craven’s meta-horror saga. Although storyline details are still few, expect the movie to continue the mythos around Sidney Prescott and her tragic, unlucky background.

Sesame Street (2022)

Since its release date was declared all the back all the way in 2019, as well as the original launch date of shooting just on the movie in 202 had to have been postponed owing to COVID-19, that’s still a bit nebulous. Expecting to be seeing Anne Hathaway, Bo Burnham, as well as Chance the Rapper spending out together with Big Bird, Grover, Elmo, as well as the rest of the Sesame Street crew inside the third motion picture spin-off of an iconic children’s educational TV series if all falls into place.

Morbius (2022)

Jackass Forever (2022)

The majority of the Jackass group is back for one more time, along with Tony Hawk, Tyler the Creator, Eric André, and others. Anticipate a bunch of cringe-worthy antics and crazy pranks, but also expect an unexpected dose of emotion as the lads go out in style.
