Kedarh Shinde helmed Toh Baat Pakki!, a 2010 Bollywood romantic comedy movie. Tabu, Sharman Joshi, Vatsal Sheth, Uvika Choudhary, and Ayub Khan feature inside the movie, which is directed by Ramesh S Taurani and produced by Tips Music Films. Kedar Shinde, a Marathi filmmaker, made his directorial debut with the movie. The movie follows a middle-class woman who is looking for a suitable match for her sister. She meets two potential partners and is forced to pick between them. The woman’s, as well as her sister’s options, are different. The entire movie depicts the humorous pandemonium that has ensued. The movie was released on February 19, 2010, while critics gave it generally mediocre reviews.
The plot of the movie
Rajeshwari Saxena (Tabu), a bright middle-class lady married to Surinder Saxena, is the subject of the movie Toh Baat Pakki, (Ayub Khan). She is now on the lookout for a suitor for her sister Nisha (Uvika Choudhary), whom she wishes to marry a wealthy and accomplished young man. During grocery shopping, she meets Rahul (Sharman Joshi). He is indeed a Saxena who is studying to be an engineer. She takes advantage of the situation and gives him a place in her home. Rahul has the opportunity to meet Nisha, Rajeshwari’s sister, while he’s in there. Rajeshwari forces them to fall in love, and Rahul accepts to marry Nisha.
Whenever Yuvvraaj (Vatsal Sheth) arrives at Rajeshwari’s residence, the wedding festivities are all in full flow. He seems to have a steady job and plans to purchase a home next month. In addition, he is a Saxena. Rajeshwari deceives Rahul from leaving the room after spotting a superior groom for her sister. Yuvvraaj begins to occupy the now-empty chamber. When he meets Nisha, he immediately falls in love with her. The marriage arrangements have changed significantly now. The groom’s face has changed. While Rahul learns of all this, he intends to play Rajeshwari on her own level.
Yuvvraaj is made aware of the full situation. He takes a step back and requests that Rajeshwari accept Rahul. Rajeshwari sees her error. Rahul and Nisha tie the knot and leave for their honeymoon.
The soundtrack of the movie
Life in a… Metro (May 11, 2007), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (October 12, 2007), Jab We Met (October 26, 2007), Race (March 21, 2008), Kismat Konnection (July 18, 2008), Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (November 6, 2009), and others are among the songs on the soundtrack. The tune was not well received by the audience, who had anticipated more from Pritam, a well-known music director. According to India, the soundtrack consists primarily of Punjabi mix rhythms such as Jis Din as well as Dil Le Jaa. With the exception of Jis Din, which has been composed by Mayur Puri, Taran Adarsh thinks the film’s music is mediocre.
Production of the movie
Yvika Choudhary announced the project for the very first time in September 2008. She had lately appeared in the films Om Shanti Om and Summer 2007. She claims to have had a head start in Bollywood, however, the movie was delayed and only came out in February 2010. She also stated that now the cast and crew had already been chosen at that time. Tabu, who hasn’t been in a film in three years, stars in the film. She has been seen in Cheeni Kum, in which she co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan, and subsequently in the film Om Shanti Om, in which she had a cameo appearance. During the production of the film, this generated a lot of buzzes. Tabu made a comeback in the film, and she is set to star in another Sanjay Gupta production.
Sharman Joshi, a friend of the filmmaker Kedarh Shinde, also appears in the film. Exception of Sharman, Kedarh Shinde had no prior knowledge of all other actors on site. He assisted the filmmaker in the casting of other performers.
