The movie follows a gay guy with his girlfriend as they try to persuade the former’s parents of their relationship.

The movie was shot in Varanasi from December 16 to December 16, 2019, and it has been released in India on February 21, 2020.

Aman Tripathi is a Delhi-based marketer who comes from a traditional Allahabad middle-class family. Shankar Tripathi, his father, is indeed a conservative agricultural scientist. Sunaina Tripathi, his mother, is a homemaker who has always been worried about her kid. His uncle Chaman, aunt Champa, and their daughter Rajni “Goggle” Tripathi are some of the members of the combined family. Kartik Singh is Aman’s true love, as well as he lives with him since Delhi. Sunaina invites him to Goggle’s wedding one day. Sunaina and Shankar want to marry Aman to Kusum Nigam, the daughter of a family acquaintance.

Aman and Kartik board the “Vivah Express,” which already has Aman’s family on board. Aman and Kartik exchange a kiss, which Shankar witnesses. Kartik advises Aman to speak with his father. Shankar tells Aman to keep his distance from Kartik.

Kartik and Aman exchange a public kiss during Goggle’s wedding, leaving everyone stunned and powerless. Aman confronts his parents, who are still unsure about his sexuality. Chaman whisks Kartik away to the railway station, while Shankar blackmails Aman into marrying Kusum. Meanwhile, owing to Aman’s sexuality, Ashok refuses to marry Goggle. Goggle tries to kill herself at the train station, but Kartik intervenes.

Kartik persuades Goggle that she is supported by her family. In turn, Goggle persuades Kartik to reclaim Aman.

Kusum confesses to Aman that she is already head over heels in love with Rakesh. She makes a proposal: they would married but continue to live in Delhi with their separate boyfriends. Shankar persuades Sunaina to rechristen Aman so that he might be cleansed of his “sins” at home. In the scene, Goggle and Kartik appear. Shankar thrashes Kartik with a stick, knocking him out. In order to save Kartik, Aman accepts to marry Kusum. His family begins the wedding planning.

Kartik attempts to persuade Aman not to marry Kusum, but Aman is powerless in the face of his family.

Shankar and Sunaina discover on the day of their wedding that the Supreme Court would rule on the decriminalisation of homosexuality the following day. They quarrel over their previous loves and realise they’ve just been living with each other half-heartedly. They do not want the same for their son, but they decide to go forward with the wedding nonetheless, assuming that everything would be great thereafter. Kusum, on the other hand, steals all of Sunaina’s jewels and flees, leaving a letter in Aman’s chamber.
