Sardar Papa Rayudu is indeed a 1980 Telugu-language historical movie directed by Dasari Narayana Rao as well as produced by Kranthi Kumar. N. T. Rama Rao, Sridevi, and Sharada featured in the film, which has music by Chakravarthy. Sarfarosh is a Hindi remake of the movie (1985).
Ramu and Vijaya, an honest police officer, are all in love. Dharmaraju, Vijaya’s father, is a crooked politician that portrays himself as a decent gentleman on the outside. By collaborating with both the British, he as well as two other men named Satya Murthy and Nyayapathi exploited the impoverished. When Dharmaraju sees Ramu with his daughter, he flashes back to his childhood.
In the Andaman Islands, Dharmaraju, Satya Murthy, and Nyayapathi murder a monarch, Vijayaraghavaraju, and blame it on a real gentleman and outstanding freedom warrior, Sardar Paparayudu. Sardar Paparayudu is sentenced to life in prison. Dharmaraju is taken aback when he sees Ramu because he has the same facial traits as Sardar Paparayudu. Ramu is, in reality, the son of Sardar Paparayudu. Seeta, Ramu’s mother, is Sardar Paparayudu’s wife. Dharmaraju is afraid once there, and also to make matters worse, Sardar Paparayudu is freed from prison due to a reduction in his sentence.
He seeks to avenge Dharmaraju for wrongfully imprisoning him, as well as a schism between him and his son Ramu develops. Sardar Paparayudu gets caught in the middle of a struggle to save his kid and many others. Dharmaraju fires on Paparayudu, but he saves them all in the end.
Chakravarthy composed the soundtrack for the film. The lyrics were written by Sri Sri, Rajashri, and Dasari Narayana Rao.
