Anil Ravipudi wrote and directed Raja The Great, a 2017 Telugu-language action comedy film produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations label. Ravi Teja, Mehreen Pirzada, and Raadhika feature in the movie as just a visually handicapped guys. Featuring music composed by Sai Karthik, Vivan Bhatena, Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, and Sampath Raj perform supporting parts. Mahadhan, Teja’s son, makes his debut appearance in this movie.

This movie’s production started in February 2017 in Hyderabad, as well as major f The movie was released globally on October 18, 2017, and became a commercial success, collecting upwards of 50 crores, making it Teja’s highest-grossing movie to date.

Lucky is the spoiled and well-protected daughter of SP Prakash, a dedicated police officer. Prakash meets the brother of a prominent rowdy sheeter named Devaraj during one of his activities, for which Lucky was one of the causes. Devaraj, enraged, seeks vengeance, and Prakash is slain in the attack, while Devaraj also attacks Lucky. To avoid an assassination attempt, Lucky flees to Darjeeling and hides in the home of her father’s friend Prasad.

The police department is now on the lookout for a special team to act as Lucky’s security guard.

Raja, but on the other hand, is indeed a blind guy who is taught to exploit his condition to his advantage by his head constable mother, Anantha Lakshmi. Anantha Lakshmi wants to see her son become a police officer. She agrees to enlist her blind son inside the mission with the help of IG Viswaraj. He agrees to send him after several incidences, but merely to make food for that other police. Raja travels to Darjeeling alongside his pal Bujji as well as three others. Raja encounters Lucky and, using a few tactics, transforms the gloomy Lucky into a joyful person.

He also finds out more about Prasad’s problems. He was allegedly duped by such a bank manager and made to repay a larger sum than he would have initially borrowed. With Raja’s support, Lucky emerges from her depression and begins to celebrate her life. Meanwhile, Devaraj discovers Lucky’s whereabouts and instructs his thugs to assault her. Knowing this, the Viswaraj and his squad arrive to safeguard Lucky by taking her overseas; however, Raja advises her to “not escape and instead fight with them,” however the Viswaraj ignores him and abducts Lucky.

On the way, Devaraj’s men assault Viswaraj and his crew, attempting to kill Lucky, but Raja (who has been trained in sword fighting and karate since childhood) saves them by killing the goons.

Lucky has faith in Raja and resolves to stay with him as well fight with him. Lucky and Raja visit her relatives in Madhira, but her uncles refuse to accept her for a short time. Raja helps people to see their errors. On Lucky’s birthday, she learns of her father’s dream (to educate disadvantaged girls by adopting them) and decides to follow in his footsteps.

Meanwhile, Devaraj dispatches more thugs, who are defeated by Raja. Devaraj is challenged by Raja to encounter him. Devaraj and his thugs arrive at Lucky’s residence. Raja exposes him for what he has been and warns him not to bother Lucky again. Raja’s mother and Lucky are kidnapped by Devaraj. Raja, on the other hand, uses his wits to save his mother and Lucky. Lucky then proposes to Raja.

It is subsequently revealed that Raja obtains the proof against Devaraj while fleeing Devaraj’s factory with Lucky and Bujji. A warrant is issued against Devaraj for the Viswaraj. When the police arrive to arrest Devaraj, he injures Raja and afterwards taunts him (saying that he really is afraid of meeting him alone and such), angering Anantha Lakshmi, who dares Devaraj to a fight. Devaraj is defeated by Raja, yet he is not killed. The Viswaraj meets Devaraj and enlists Raja’s assistance in future police operations. Raja and Lucky marry as well as life happily ever after.
