As recently after revealing the first look poster of the multistarrer movie ‘Bhoot Police’, the makers are all set to release the movie on the leading OTT platform. The whole cast including Saif Ali Khan is excited.
Earlier this week, the makers introduced all the lead characters of the movie, which include- Saif Ali Khan as Vibhooti, Arjun Kapoor as Chiraunji, Yami Gautam as Maya, and Jacqueline Fernandez as Kanika. Due to the widespread of the Covid-19 virus throughout the country, all the public gatherings including weddings, theatres, malls, parks, and beaches were closed throughout the country. The shooting of the movie was wrapped up earlier this year and it was scheduled to hit the theatres on September 10th. But, coronavirus acted as a barrier.

Now, after the things getting to unlock with proper vaccination drive taking place all across India. The makers are still not sure about when will the theatres open again, as covid is still not over. With 3rd wave coming into the picture, and without delaying the releases furthermore, makers Tips Industries Ltd in association with 12th Street Entertainment are all set to release the movie in the digital space.
If we believe the reports coming in, the total budget of the movie is Rs 40 Crores, whereas the satellite and digital rights sold by the makers of Bhoot Police to Star Network is for Rs 60-65 Crores. This means that Rs 20-25 Crores profit will be in the makers pocket.
The movie Bhoot Police is presented by Tips Industries Ltd in association with 12th Street Entertainment, directed by Pavan Kirpalani. The producers of the movie are Ramesh Taurani, Akshai Puri, and co-produced by Jaya Taurani. It will be released on 17th September only on Disney + Hotstar Vip.
