Rabhasa

Santosh Srinivas wrote and directed Rabhasa, a Telugu-language action comedy movie released in 2014. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. as well as Samantha Ruth Prabhu star in the film, which was produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and Bellamkonda Ganesh Babu for Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions. It also stars Nassar, Jayasudha, Sayaji Shinde, and Brahmanandam in supporting parts. The movie’s music was composed by S. Thaman. This movie’s filming was handled by Shyam K. Naidu, whereas the editing was done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. For several parts of the movie, director V. V. Vinayak supplied voice-overs.

The plot centres on Karthik, a US return student who vows to marry his uncle Dhanunjay’s daughter Indu, as per his mother’s wishes. A tiny family conflict leads to the separation of both families. He enrols at Indu’s college in order to persuade her to marry him, but he makes the mistake of thinking Bhagyam is Dhanunjay’s daughter. Karthik discovers that Indu is his cousin later, but she is already engaged to another guy. When he attempts to aid a stranger, he puts himself into a dangerous predicament. The rest of the novel is about how he manages the damage and meets his mother’s dream.

The film premiered in Hyderabad on February 13, 2013. The primary photography began on August 2, 2013, in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills. The most of the movie was shot in Hyderabad’s outskirts as well as suburbs, as well as in Annapoorna Studios, Ramanaidu Studios, Ramoji Film City, as well as the outskirts and suburbs of Jaipur and Pollachi. The movie’s filming ended on July 23, 2014, in Hyderabad, after that a song was shot in Switzerland.

The movie was released in theatres globally upon that eve of Vinayaka Chathurthi on August 29, 2014, to mixed critical reviews, along with the majority of them classifying this as a typical mass picture. Goldmines Telefilms also dubbed this in Hindi underneath the label The Super Khiladi 2. The film earned around 44.5 crores globally throughout its lifetime run, according to Andhra Box Office, making it a box office flop.

Rabhasa had an “excellent” beginning for early gigs all throughout the South, starting as early as 4 a.m. On the first day in Andhra Pradesh, this movie has made about 9.05 crore, making it the largest opening of 2014 as well as the third greatest opening of all times inside the AP/Nizam region.

The Soundtrack of the movie

Since Santosh Srinivas and Anoop Rubens couldn’t agree on anything, S. Thaman was hired as the movie’s music director. In mid-February 2014, news broke that N. T. Rama Rao Jr. will sing the song in the movie, making him a vocalist for the first time since Yamadonga, Kantri, as well as Adhurs. Aditya Music label hosted a promotional event for the movie’s music on 4 August 2014 at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad.
