Prithviraj, the historical drama starring Akshay Kumar, has a new release date. The much-anticipated historical drama ‘Prithviraj,’ starring Akshay Kumar and based on the life of warrior Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, has a new release date. The film was supposed to be out on June 10th. After revising and rescheduling the release date for the fourth time in a row, Akshay Kumar’s film will now be released on June 3rd, 2022.
Fans of Khiladi Kumar have been anticipating the release of the film for quite some time. The trailer and posters for the film seemed intriguing, and this piqued everyone’s attention.
Unveiling the new date of the Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar shared a poster on his Instagram and captioned it, “Elated to announce that Samrat# Prithviraj Chauhan’s grand saga is arriving sooner on the big screen on 3rd June in Hindi, Tamil & Telegu.” He tagged Manushi chillar, Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt, and director Chandraprakash Dwivedi along with it.
While announcing the new release date, the makers also shared the posters on Yash Raj’s Twitter and wrote, “Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan is arriving early on the big screen on 3rd June. In Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you.”
Due to an unexpected increase of COVID-19 cases and the shutdown of movie theatres, the creators had planned to premiere the magnum opus on June 10th. However, given the recent revelation that the fourth wave would arrive in June, it’s possible that this is one of the reasons why the release date was pushed back from June 10th to June 3rd.
Former Miss Universe Manushi Chillar will star with Prithviraj in a film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. In addition to Manushi and Akshay, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Sakshi Tanwar, and Manav Vij.
