With his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh is going off the usual path. The actor stated that the film’s trailer would be released on Tuesday, April 19th, after sending out a bizarre invitation. In classic Jayeshbhai fashion, the actor also released a new poster alongside the teaser announcement, in which he can be seen dancing happily.
Sharing the poster, Ranveer captioned it, “#JayeshbhaiJordaar Trailer OUT TOMORROW!!!! #HappyDance @shalzp | @boman_Irani | #RatnaPathakShah | #ManeeshSharma | @divyangt | @yrf | #JayeshbhaiJordaar13thMay.” Ranveer Singh can be seen striking a posture in the middle of the street with his trademark moustache and hair in the new image.
Ranveer Singh and the Jayeshbhai Jordaar crew sent scentless soaps as invites to the trailer presentation, which has piqued everyone’s interest. Anushka Sharma, who received a similar invitation along with a customised message from Ranveer, is curious as to what would happen tomorrow.
Talking about this creative promotional idea, producer Maneesh Sharma said, “Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a film with its own unique cinematic fragrance. It attempts to break societal barriers and prejudices in the most unlikely way.” Jayeshbhai Jordaar also stars Shalini Pandey and Boman Irani, in addition to Ranveer Singh. Jayeshbhai Jordaar, directed by Divyang Thakkar, will be released in theatres on May 13th.
