Hera Pheri 3 Back on Track: Priyadarshan Breaks Silence on Paresh Rawal’s Return and Behind-the-Scenes Rift

After weeks of speculation and fan frenzy, Hera Pheri 3 director Priyadarshan has finally spoken up about the return of Paresh Rawal and the reported fallout that almost derailed the beloved franchise.

Fans were disheartened when news surfaced that Rawal, known for his iconic portrayal of Baburao, had exited the project. The disappointment only deepened with rumors of a lawsuit by Akshay Kumar accusing him of sabotaging the film. But hope was restored when Paresh Rawal confirmed his return. Now, Priyadarshan has stepped in to clear the air.

Speaking to a renowned media house, the veteran filmmaker said, “I am living in South India. Whenever a film is signed, I will go to shoot it. I am only committed to Akshay Kumar to do this film (as a maker), I don’t know anybody else.”

Priyadarshan distanced himself from the controversy, emphasizing that he stays away from cinema politics. “Suniel, Akshay, and Paresh are my best friends. There was a difference of opinion between them that has been sorted out. This is all I know,” he added.

Addressing murmurs that Firoz Nadiadwala’s brother Sajid helped patch things up, Priyadarshan indirectly responded, “Somebody is saying so and so is involved, but there’s nothing. To the best of my knowledge, the three actors decided to do the film and informed me.”

When asked about the film’s timeline, the Hungama director said he just wrapped up Bhoot Bangla, and Hera Pheri 3 could roll into production sometime next year. For fans of the franchise, that’s a much-needed green light.
