Umesh Shukla helmed and UTV Motion Pictures produced Dhoondte Reh Jaoge, a 2009 Indian romantic comedy. Kunal Khemu, Paresh Rawal, Sonu Sood, Soha Ali Khan, Dilip Joshi, as well as Johnny Lever are among the cast members of the film. It debuted in India on March 6, 2009, and even in the United States on March 20, 2009. Umesh Shukla is indeed the director, while Ronnie Screwvala is the producer. Sajid–Wajid wrote the soundtrack for the film.
The plot of the movie ‘Dhoondte Reh Jaoge’-
The movie begins in Mumbai with Raj Chopra (Paresh Rawal), a good movie director whose current works have all bombed at the box office. His landlords and lenders scare him with being evicted if he ever does not pay it on schedule.
Anand (Kunal Khemu), a chartered accountant, attempts to cheer up his lover Neha (Soha Ali Khan) on her birthday. Anand celebrates Neha’s birthday by taking her to a five-star restaurant. In the restaurant, Raj meets Ratan (Asrani). Ratan is Aryan Kapoor’s (Sonu Sood) manager, and Raj has gone to visit Ratan in order to negotiate a movie contract with Aryan.
Raj and Ratan buy as much food as they can and then pass the cost on to Anand, who is unable to pay and is imprisoned. Anand is enraged when he finds Raj stealing when he first emerges.
Raj approaches Aryan and Ratan, and just as he is about to hand over the movie contract documents, Inspector Avtar Gill arrives and arrests Raj for stealing, which Anand had filmed. Raj breaks free from prison only to be assaulted and rescued by Anand. Anand and Raj collaborate on a movie plot to invest money in a film and ensure it is a disaster. They amass a large sum of money and pose as wealthy men in order to impress Aryan, who signs the documents and is cast in the film.
Anand and Raj strive to make the film as terrible as possible in order to earn their cut of the profits, but they do have no idea that every one of them does have a differentiation tactic.
To fund the film, they take out a loan from a well-known mobster. They cast Neha in the actress part since Anand knows the movie would be a disaster if Neha is in it. They hire Asharraff (Johnny Lever) as the writer whereas the movie is being shot, and he mashes up Sholay, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Gadar, and Lagaan (in that order). The movie is deemed a “hit” during the premiere, and the assassins prepare to kill them simultaneously. Raj is preparing to flee with the money when he discovers that Anand has already taken all of it.
Very much on the run, they stumble into while seeking a hiding place, and they conclude that the best place to hide is in the jail itself. The two are wanted for producing a fake movie and stealing money. When they are released from prison, the two hugs in affection, Neha Anand meets up, and that everyone agrees to produce a new movie.
