The teaser for Bhumi Pednekar’s upcoming film, Badhaai Do, has been released, sparking a discussion on social inclusion. Bhumi plays Suman, a physical education teacher inside a small town. Rajkummar Rao plays the lead within the film. As soon as even the trailer was out, audiences came to appreciate the theme that the filmmakers attempted to address. Bhumi has already responded to the audience’s reaction inside a discussion and stated why she agreed yes to the movie.
Bhumi is pleased with the positive response to the trailer and believes that the tale of Badhaai Do will be eye-opening for Indians. “I’m incredibly thrilled that content creators working on unique and clutter-breaking issues think I can lead a productive and bring their vision to reality,” she adds. Badhaai Do, directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. This is the first time the two have been matched together in a game. The film is scheduled to be released on February 11, 2022.
