Mrunal Thakur and Shahid Kapoor are both quite busy these days, and properly so. They are, after all, preparing for the release of Jersey. The film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, will be Shahid and Mrunal’s debut onscreen collaboration, and their onscreen chemistry has been the talk of the town for a time now. While this new jodi has been marketing the sports drama, Shahid and Mrunal have created news today by unveiling the second trailer for Jersey at an event. Surprisingly, the couple won hearts with their fashion statements during the trailer premiere.
Shahid Kapoor looked dashing in his black shirt and pants, which he matched with a multi-color blazer, in the photos. As he stood at the trailer presentation event, the Batti Gul Meter Chalu star was all grins, and his swag was unrivalled. Mrunal, on the other hand, looked stunning in a dark blue dress with spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline. With a back pony and black shoes, the actress completed her ensemble. At the event, the couple was also seen posing with director Gowtam Tinnanuri.
For the uninitiated, Jersey is the much anticipated adaptation of the National Award-winning Telugu film of the same name, which starred Nani. Shahid will play a cricketer in this film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. In addition to Shahid and Mrunal, Pankaj Kapur plays a pivotal role in Jersey. The sports drama will be released on April 14 this year, and will compete with Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 at the box office.
