Youngbin from K-pop group SF9, has announced his military joining date

Youngbin, a member of the South Korean pop group SF9, will indeed be joining inside the country’s required military duty. Inseong revealed his enlistment a few days ago, and the news arrives just a few days after.

As reported by Korean tabloid Soompi, SF9’s agency FNC Entertainment confirmed the news by publishing an official statement. “This is our announcement regarding SF9’s Youngbin’s military enlistment,” FNC Entertainment said during a statement. Youngbin will enrol as an active-duty soldier inside the army’s 27th division on March 29. We would not be holding any official events on the day before his enlistment due to precautions around COVID-19 and to reduce the disorder around the enlistment site.”

“Since this is a place where many soldiers are gathered, the exact location will be kept private, and we ask that fans respect the fact that they are banned from coming. We are always grateful for the love you send SF9’s Youngbin. He will complete his mandatory military service safely, and until the day he returns in good health, we ask for your continued support,” it concluded.

FNC announced earlier this month that another member of the group, Inseong, will enrol as a member of the military band on March 21.

On the professional front, SF9 published the digital single ‘Savior’ through Universe Music for such mobile application Universe on December 30, 2021. From January 21 to 23, 2022, SF9 performed four gigs at the Olympic Hall in Seoul as part of its third solo concert, “Live Fantasy 3: IMPERFECT.”
