YG Entertainment Apologizes After BLACKPINK Goyang Concert Seating Scandal: Fans Demand Refunds

Following outrage over “zero visibility” seats at BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE concerts in Goyang on July 5–6, YG Entertainment has issued a public apology and promised corrective action.

The controversy erupted when fans seated in the N3 section found their views completely blocked by technical installations like LED consoles—despite paying full price. Many shared images online, revealing they were unable to see the stage at all. The seats weren’t marked as ‘restricted view’ during ticket sales, leading fans to accuse the organizers of a scam.

In response, YG admitted their on-site fix—a screen installation—failed to solve the problem. “We deeply apologize to attendees in the N3 seats for the inconvenience caused,” read their statement. The agency assured that affected ticket holders can report their issue via the ticketing platform for possible compensation.

YG concluded by promising better planning going forward: “We will be more considerate of the concert environment and strive to improve the overall experience.”

Still, many fans remain dissatisfied, demanding refunds and accountability for what they call a breach of trust.
