Kim Soo Hyun’s Fans File Police Complaint Against YouTuber Over Damaging Allegations

Kim Soo Hyun’s fan association has filed a formal complaint against YouTuber Kwon Young Chan, accusing him of spreading false and harmful claims about the actor. The legal action, submitted on May 8 to Seoul Seongbuk Police Station, follows a series of online videos linking Kim to late actress Kim Sae Ron in a controversial and sensitive context.

The YouTuber allegedly made multiple livestreams accusing Kim Soo Hyun of inappropriate behavior, including claims of a relationship with Kim Sae Ron when she was underage. He also implied the actor had disturbing tendencies, all without evidence. Fans argue that Kwon presented himself as a mental health expert, misleading viewers and giving weight to false claims.

To back their case, the fan group submitted 56 examples of defamatory statements made between March 17 and April 25. They claim these remarks have seriously damaged Kim’s reputation, career, and emotional well-being.

While Kim Soo Hyun has denied all allegations and clarified that any relationship began only after Kim Sae Ron became an adult, the controversy continues to stir public debate. With legal proceedings now underway, all eyes are on how the case will be resolved.
